Another weekend packed with tournaments across multiple Age groups keeping our boys busy in preparation for next season and all of our teams put on great displays of football.
U6 - Attended Fulham on saturday for a pre academy tournament [I got the age groups wrong and sent out a request at 8PM the night before to get a team together] and the boys represented Proper!
Then they performed well again at JDFS today reaching the 1/4 finals only losing two games which was to the winners and runners up.
U7 - Also Attended JDFS today and broke the ballers curse its been a good 10 years of attending their tournaments without winning a trophy and the boys made sure we didnt leave empty handed - CHAMPIONS 🏆
U9 - We entered two teams into the Enable cup [EC], both teams played well with our Yellows going onto the Semi finals but unfortunately fell short between both teams I believe they only each lost 1 game...Tournament football can be cruel.
U11 - [EC] Played fantastic in the group stages missed out on qualifying into the main cup as they finished 2nd place 😢 but ended up 3rd place overall so not too shabby.
U12 - [EC] Played top football but again missed out on the main cup ended the day on a 7 - 0 high winning the shield 😬
U15 - [EC] Managed themselves for most of the tournament as coach was glory hunting with the 6s & 7s 🤣 Missed out on the Top cup on GD 🙈 - went onto to win the shield.
