Founded in 2019 by Gregory Issachar Nicholls (Ize), Balham Ballers was born from a simple belief: sport has the power to bring people together, create opportunities and strengthen communities.

What began as a passion for delivering high-quality football coaching has grown into a community-focused organisation dedicated to making sport, physical activity and positive experiences accessible to everyone.

Rooted in Balham and the surrounding areas of South West London, we work closely with local schools, families and community partners to create opportunities for children and young people to Learn, Play and Enjoy.

From grassroots football and competitive youth teams to girls-only sessions, futsal, school sports programmes and holiday camps, everything we do is built around inclusion, development and a genuine sense of belonging.

But our vision has always extended beyond the football pitch.

We believe strong communities are built through shared spaces, meaningful connections and opportunities for people of all ages to come together. As we continue to grow, our ambition is to create welcoming environments where sport, wellbeing, creativity and community life can flourish side by side.
